Mars Exploration Vehicle

The Mars Exploration vehicle, or MEV as it is known at NASA is an all-electric machine designed with a pressurized cabin. Someday astronauts will drive such vehicles on the surface of the Red Planet in their shirtsleeves. This model was created in 3ds Max and rendered with Mental Ray. It helped me hone my hard surface modeling skills, and while the process was challenging at times it was a very useful learning experience.
